1940's Black silk taffeta evening gown. Sweetheart neckline. Gathers in the bust line. Pleated trim on both sides of the bust area, the trim goes up the front over the shoulders and down the back. The gown is sleeveless, The pleated trim hangs over the shoulders and gives a cap sleeve. The pleated trim has a off white lace around the outside edges. The trim has yellowed a bit. "V" waist seam. Gathered skirt. floor length. Side metal zipper. The only flaw is that the off white lace trim has yellowed. and under the left arm slight underarm discolor, not noticeable when worn. The fading you see on the photo is not there, that is a trick of the camera. 1940's Navy and white gabardine suit. Joan Crawford style. Medium size pointed collar, 3 button closure, buttons are covered with like fabric. The first button needs a repair. Suit has long sleeves, padded shoulders,natural waistline, 9 inch peplum. 2 hip pockets in front. Jacket has hand details around the lapels, down the front, along the edges of the pockets. The back of the jacket has a yoke with hand details. Jacket is lined in navy crepe. Bust 34 inches, waist 28 inches. Straight style skirt, side zipper, lower mid calf length. The skirt has a 3 inch hem and it's only basted . The jacket/ peplum has only one flaw a tiny insect hole near the side seam on the right side not noticeable. The skirt has one small insect hole on the right side 3 inches from the center seam, 6 inches down from the waist. Skirt is 26 inch waist, 38 inch hips and 29 inches long. 1940's Black rayon dress. "V" neck, padded shoulders, elbow length sleeves that are puffy at the tops. A wrap around look on the bodice. Large black bow on the left shoulder , the bow is decorated with tiny rhinestones. Natural waist line, with a belt. The belt has the matching bow as the shoulder. Side metal zipper. Straight style skirt , lower calf length. Excellent Conditions. 32 inch waist, 38 inch bust and hips. 46 inches long from shoulder to hem. 1940's Black rayon dress. High round neck. Navy and silver sequin design on the left shoulder. Padded shoulders. Wide long sleeves. Small pleats under the bust, natural waistline. Gored skirt, back and side zippers. 36 inch bust, 28 inch waist, 44 inches long from shoulder to hem. Excellent Condition. 1940's Rayon print dress. Navy with blue, red, white flowers and green leaves. "V" neck 4 rhinestone buttons down the front center , for decoration only, one of the buttons is missing the rhinestones. The bodice is gathered on both sides of the buttons. Cap sleeves. Natural waist line . Straight style skirt with a 9 inch peplum at the front , hips on the sides Not in the center back . The peplum goes around the front and sides and becomes longer in the back sides. Back metal zipper. 40 inch bust and hips , 32 inch waist, 45 inches long from shoulder to hem. 1940's Light lilac rayon dress. Dress has tiny white and black dots. "V" neck, cap sleeves, Natural waistline with belt . Dress buttons down the front with 10 lilac nickel size buttons. 1940's Rayon silk print dress. Black with White, yellow, bright pink flowers and green leaves. High round neck, no collar, padded shoulders, cap sleeves. 3 pleats on each shoulder, these pleats go from shoulder to waist. Natural waistline, straight style skirt, side zipper. On the left side of the skirt at the waist a a black rayon taffeta waterfall. Bust 34 inches, waist 26 inches, 34 inch hips. 39 inches from shoulder to hem. 1940's black rayon dress. Narrow sweetheart neck line. Smocking on the shoulders, 15 button and loops down the front. Side hook closure Natural waist line. The bodice is decorated with silver metal beads. The sleeves are just above wrist length. "A" line skirt,with 2 narrow gores in front, lower calf length. Some soiling around the neckline inside. Tiny hole on the right side down by the hem. 36/38 inch bust, 32 inch waist, 38 inch hips. , 43 inches long from shoulder to hem. 1940's Beautiful medium green silk taffeta gown and stole. The gown is strapless, side zipper, 23 green tiny taffeta buttons down the front for decoration "V" seam at the waist. Skirt is full has box pleats , full floor length. The stole is the same fabric as the gown. This gown is in near perfect condition, the only damage I see is some staining under the underarms, the right are has more than the left, it's not that bad. Otherwise it's in Excellent Condition. 32/33 in bust, 26 inch waist, 49 inches long from bust to hem. 1940's Black rayon Blouse. High round neck. Sheer rayon yoke in front. Dark gray bead leaf design around the edge of the yoke. The rest of the blouse is black rayon. One inch tuck on each shoulder.
